Artificial insemination is the process of manually inseminating a female dog from collected semen. This replaces the natural process.
AI is safer and cleaner than a natural mating. It also increases the probability of a successful pregnancy and potentially larger litter. We use sterile equipment for this process such as an insemination rod and plug the entrance once completed to aid the drawing in of the semen.
